WOW, how is it that I haven't posted anything here nor did I take the time to learn this program since I registered at Typepad, I guess between getting settled in the new house, the holidays, work (yup I am still driving 2 hours/110 miles each way) and life in general things got away from me. I am going to try and do more and on a more consistent basis. I've played with this program alot today and it doesn't seem all that difficult to use. Good thing, even though I know some HTML, I really have no time to get involved in a complicated program.
Today I added 24 new digital layouts to my digi album (yippee) and while I don't love all of them, I love most. A few I will be redoing (like the NY ones) What was I thinking when I designed those.. yuck!
I just must share how PROUD I am of our youngest son, Brian.. He is 18 and I was pretty worried when he graduated from HS last June that he didn't have any focus, except for the girlfriend (I LOVE you Kailynn!!) and his guitar. Well he has just SHOCKED me with all the adult decisions and actions he has been taking. He is in his second semester of community college, is working 3 days a week, and he has decided to join his dad as a Firefighter so he is also volunteering at the local FD 2 nights a week and taking fire classes PLUS finding time for Kailynn!!! ahhh so proud!! Chris is doing great, he is basically spending Mon-Friday here in Richmond, working FT for a security installation company and on weekends it's either off to Radford to see his girlfriend (we met her last week, so sweet and cute, so far he can keep her, like I have any say in that) or he heads to WVU to visit with his former teammates and friends.
BTW - How about those Mountaineers..
Sugar Bowl Champions in Football, 6-0 in the Big East in Basketball. What a year for Mountaineer sports.. here is hoping the baseball team does as well.
The super bowl is Sunday and unfortunately my Redskins aren't in Detroit, but heck, they gave it one hell of a try.. Next year is the Redskins year!! I am routing for the Steelers, as I told my DH, there is just something about the Steelers organization, the teams always seem like they are "real" and "down to earth". A bit blue collar in attitude, which just makes them even more enduring. Well enough gibberish for today.. I have things to do around this place so I better get to it or I won't have my "Idol" time tonite.. Until next time...God bless and take care..
